How does the set of recommendations on Today's To-Do's relate to the "Test you're preparing for" setting under Study Preferences?

If you set your "Test you are preparing for" to USMLE Step 1 (or COMLEX L1) via the Account and Settings Study Preferences (https://med.firecracker.me/app#/tree/settings/study-preferences), then Firecracker will pull recommendations from all of the topics you've marked to populate your Today's To-Do's (including topics marked in our Step 2 section, and topics marked in our Step 1 section). This is recommended if you're preparing to take Step 1 and Step 2 within a short period of time such as a few weeks from one another, so you can simultaneously study for both Steps. After you take Step 1, you can then toggle the "Test you are preparing for" to Step 2.

Conversely, if you set your "Test you are preparing for" to USMLE Step 2 CK (or COMLEX L2), then even if you have topics marked under the USMLE Step 1 section of our content, we will still only show you recommendations associated with the Clinical Clerkships materials in Firecracker.
