Your daily recommended Patient Case is part of your Today's To-Do's. This optional task is labelled "Diagnose." When you come into Firecracker each day, you will see a single clinical vignette (CV), also referred to as a patient case, for you to solve. Your CV for each day is selected specifically for you based on your content marks, your past recall scores on the primary associated topic, your performance on related CVs, and the relative difficulty of each CV.

We’ll keep track of your longest streak of correctly solved daily CVs. If you skip a day, your streak ends. If you answer a clinical vignette incorrectly, your streak ends. We will display your streak in comparison to our current streak record on the Today's To-Do's page as well. We will also reward individuals who earn the longest streaks!

We're also adding a second new optional task type: Refresh Tasks. These will allow you to quickly review the summary and flashcard questions for the primary associated topic that was tested in that day’s Patient Case. And as always, the work done will re-prioritize the related questions in your long-term stack.
